Jim Nieset is a partner in the firm’s New Orleans office. He joined the firm in 1996. His practice includes the defense of insurance companies in personal injury, insurance coverage, premises liability, products liability, property and bad faith/extra contractual cases. He has successfully tried cases to both judges and juries in state and federal courts throughout Louisiana. In addition to his trial experience, he has mediated hundreds of cases. As an appellate lawyer, Jim has argued cases in the Louisiana First, Third, Fourth and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeal and at the Louisiana Supreme Court. Jim is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbel. He is a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy and a presenter at the Tulane Law School Professionalism Orientation Seminar. Jim and his wife have two children.
