biography
Tanya is an associate in the firm’s Baton Rouge office. Born and raised in New Orleans, Tanya attended and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science in 2011. While at Loyola University, Tanya received the Mary Ann Reising Flynn Scholarship Award. Tanya then went on to attend Tulane University to receive a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal Studies in 2012. With a passion for law, Tanya obtained her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2018. While in law school, Tanya was a member of the Southern University Law Center’s Journal of Race, Gender and Poverty, where she also served as the managing and symposium editor. Tanya was also a member of the Southern University Moot Court. Immediately upon completion of the bar exam, Tanya attended and graduated from the University of New Orleans with an Executive Master of Business Administration in 2019.
Tanya’s practice areas are insurance defense, subrogation and bad faith cases. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Tanya gained litigation experience insurance defense, family law, successions, bankruptcy, foreclosure, real estate and administrative Law.
Tanya is admitted to practice with the Louisiana State Bar.
