biography
Kailey Goerlitz is an associate in the New Orleans office. Kailey’s practice areas include personal injury, insurance defense, insurance coverage, and civil litigation. She started her career as an Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans where she prosecuted high level felony cases and successfully presented 10 jury trials and 3 judge trials.
Kailey earned her Bachelor’s Degree in French Studies and Journalism at Southern Methodist University in 2018. For two years, she worked at Deloitte in Dallas before applying to law school during the pandemic. Kailey had never been to New Orleans before, but, thought she would love the culture, food, and music. Kailey attended Loyola University of New Orleans where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2023. At Loyola, Kailey participated in Trial Advocacy to gain invaluable court room knowledge and skills. In 2021, Kailey also served as a judicial extern for the Supervising Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, the Honorable Salvatore Sirna.
Kailey is licensed to practice in all Louisiana State Courts.
