Joshua M. Robin

biography

Joshua Robin is an associate in the New Orleans office. Joshua’s practice area includes insurance defense, insurance coverage, and bad faith/extra-contractual cases. He started his career as an independent insurance adjuster in 2013 and regularly adjusted claims for disasters: hurricanes, hailstorms, gas explosions and other catastrophic losses. He has experience with commercial liability and complex large losses. In addition, he worked in house for Progressive Insurance in their Attorney Represented Bodily Injury Claims and Litigated Claims divisions where he negotiated injury claims to settlement with attorneys while separately dealing with the litigation process. He maintains an active Louisiana and Texas adjuster license.

Joshua lives in St. Bernard with his wife and two children and is active in the community. He and his wife, Samantha Perez, Ph.D., created an hour long documentary on the Isleños residents of St. Bernard Parish while undergraduates in college. They continue to preserve the local Isleños culture of the region.

Joshua graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with honors in 2010. After working for ten years, he earned his Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law through their evening program. He served as the Managing Editor for the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and was President of the Evening Law Student Association.
