biography

Garrett Alline is a dedicated and detail-driven attorney with a strong foundation in civil litigation and appellate work. A graduate of Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center (Class of 2024), Garrett brings a well-rounded and rigorous legal background to his practice, shaped by hands-on experience in both trial and appellate courts.

Garrett a graduate from St. Paul’s Highschool on the Northshore earned his undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, where he majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Spanish, International Relations, and Hispanic Studies. While at Southeastern, he served simultaneously as president of both the Pre-Law Society and the Spanish Club, showcasing both his leadership and passion for the law and multicultural engagement.

Throughout law school, Garrett worked on toxic tort and legacy lawsuits while simultaneously engaging in his love of running through the LSU running club. He balanced building a strong work ethic, gaining practical experience, and pursuing his passions, all while complementing his academic studies.

Also, while in law school, Garrett conducted an externship with the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, where he worked under Honorable Judge Hans Liljeberg. There, he deepened his understanding of appellate review and honed his legal writing and analysis skills.

Before entering private practice, Garrett had the honor of clerking for the Honorable Judge Cynthia Spadoni in Louisiana’s 15th Judicial District Court. During his clerkship, he handled all aspects of civil research and briefing, gaining invaluable insight into courtroom procedure, judicial reasoning, and the mechanics of civil litigation. Notably, no writ or appeal was overturned on any civil matters handled by Judge Spadoni during Garrett’s time with the court—a reflection of the diligence and precision he brought to every case.

After his clerkship, Garrett entered the field of insurance defense, where he continues to advocate for clients with clarity, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to achieving favorable outcomes.
