biography
Emily Barbera Wood is an associate in the Thibodaux office. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Nicholls State University in 2018. She earned her Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2018.
During her time in law school, Emily was involved in the Prosecution Clinic, where she was recognized as a special assistant district attorney in East Baton Rouge Parish who prosecuted misdemeanors and assisted on felony cases. During law school, Emily served as a law clerk at the 17th Judicial District Court in Thibodaux as well. Emily also worked for the Thibodaux office as a law clerk throughout her time in law school.
Emily is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar. Before joining the firm, she practiced in the area of title and estates.
