Kathleen E. Simon E-mail: ksimon@phjlaw.com Kathleen Simon joined the firm in 2002. She is an partner in the firm’s Covington office. Prior to joining Porteous, Hainkel & Johnson, Ms. Simon practiced insurance defense in New Orleans and Covington for 15 years. She has extensive trial experience in Louisiana state courts representing insurance carriers and their insureds in automobile and premise liability cases. Ms. Simon has been a member of the faculty of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy for the past several years. She is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education programs and is actively involved in community affairs. She is a member of the Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans) Alumnae Association and served as a board member since 1995. She is a member of the Associated Alumnae of the Sacred Heart and is involved on both the national and international levels. Kathleen serves as a hearing officer and committee chairman for the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board for the Louisiana State Bar Association.
