Emily S. Morrison E-mail: emorrison@phjlaw.com Emily Stickney Morrison was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a graduate of Benjamin Franklin Senior High School. (1977). She attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where she earned a B.A. in History. (1981). Prior to entering law school, she was a legal assistant for three years in the maritime section of a large New Orleans law firm. She is a 1987 graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans where she was a member of the J. Braxton Craven Moot Court team and received the Dialogue in Law and Ethics award. While in law school she served as a summer law clerk to the late Former Chief Judge William V. Redmann of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal in New Orleans. Following graduation from law school, Emily was a law clerk to Justice Harry T. Lemmon of the Louisiana Supreme Court from 1987-1989. She was also a law clerk in the 29th Judicial District Court for St. Charles Parish to Judge Mary Ann Vial Lemmon. From 1993 to 1998, she served as a Staff Attorney to the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board. Prior to working for the firm, she worked for seven years as an associate for a small firm in New Orleans engaged in the defense of state agencies and officials in federal and state court. She is a member of the Junior League of New Orleans where she has been active in Teen Court of Greater New Orleans serving as its vice-chairman and co-chairman. She is an elder of St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church in New Orleans. She is a former member of the Parents Executive Board of De La Salle High School. She is a member of the Greater Covington Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Louisiana (1987), the Western District of Louisiana and the Eastern District of Louisiana.
