Charles L. “Chase” Chassaignac IV has been a member of the firm since 1991 with a practice in the areas of general civil and insurance defense litigation. He has defended litigants in most of the state district courts in Louisiana, all five of the state circuit courts of appeal, the Louisiana State Supreme Court, all three of the federal district courts in Louisiana and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. Chase practiced in the Firm’s New Orleans office from 1991 until 1999 when he opened and began managing the Firm’s Baton Rouge office. The Baton Rouge office, initially starting out with Chase as its sole attorney, has grown and currently has three full time practicing attorneys.

Born in Baton Rouge and raised in New Orleans, Chase and his wife Cherie Lorio Chassaignac, born and raised in Baton Rouge, now permanently work and reside in Baton Rouge with their three boys.

Education
Chase graduated Magna Cum Laude from Jesuit High School in New Orleans in 1983 . He was graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1988. That same year Chase went on to law school graduating with his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1991.
