Kelsey L. Jarrett

Experience & Credentials

Kelsey earned her B.A. in International Studies in 2008 from Rhodes College. She earned her J.D. in 2013 from Tulane University Law School, where she was elected to the Order of the Barristers. While at Tulane, Kelsey won the Exceptional Advocate Award in the 2012 National White Collar Crime moot court competition. She was elected Associate Justice to Tulane’s Moot Court Board in her third year. Kelsey also has an M.A. from the University of New Orleans.

Kelsey Jarrett is an associate attorney in the New Orleans office. She joined the firm in 2014 and her practice primarily includes the defense of insurance companies in personal injury, insurance coverage, property and bad faith or extra-contractual cases. Prior to joining the firm, Kelsey served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dawn Amacker of the 22nd Judicial District Court of Louisiana. She also worked as a student attorney in Tulane’s Law Clinic. Kelsey grew up in the New Orleans area. She comes from a family of attorneys who have taught her the importance of a client-first attitude, one of the tenets of Porteous, Hainkel & Johnson philosophy.
