He relocated to Baton Rouge in 2000, becoming the second attorney in the firm’s most recent addition to its regional network of offices. Growing from exclusive occupation defending toxic tort clients, Eric’s practice incorporated the Porteous, Hainkel & Johnson staple of insurance defense litigation. Client matters have resolved favorably through informed negotiation, bench and jury trial, and, where necessary, appellate review under Eric’s care. He is licensed to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts. Eric authors the Porteous, Hainkel & Johnson Louisiana Insurance Law Blog.
